Mr. Chester is an NHS-accredited plastic surgeon and a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery (Number 4196752).

He qualified as a doctor from the University of Birmingham with degrees in Medicine and Surgery in 1995. He was awarded Honours in Pharmacology. He first started working in plastic surgery in 1997 and became a consultant at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in 2007.

He has received training in all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery.

He was awarded the coveted MacGregor Medal for his outstanding performance in the national plastic surgery examination (FRCS(plast.)

He has completed a year of full-time research within the field of plastic surgery and was awarded the degree of Master of Philosophy by the University of Birmingham.

Mr. Chester is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham and has an active role in teaching medical students and the plastic surgeons of the future.

Mr. Chester runs the plastic surgery service at Worcester Royal Hospital. He is recommended by General Practitioners, Dermatologists and other surgeons. Many of his referrals come from word of mouth.

Specialist interests

Whilst Mr. Chester enjoys all aspects of cosmetic surgery he has a particular interest in cosmetic surgery of the breast and abdomen. He also has interests in the treatment of scars, skin lesion removal, amputation stump revision, surgery for painful nerves, hand surgery and surgery for hidradenitis suppurativa.
